Thaqif's First Pasta Meal

Itu hari Thaqif demam selsema and batuk. Gayanya tak selera nak makan porridge. Jadiknya mommy nya gigih nak Thaqif makan jugak lalu try la buat pasta meal. Dah beli Heinz baby pasta a couple of weeks ago tapi terperap sebabnya bahan-bahan lain tak sempat nak beli. Bila dia macam tak selera makan, barula tergegas nak pi beli!

It is called Cheezy Pasta, menu taken from here. Mari tengok cara membuatnya.

Baby pasta, unsalted/low sodium cheese,
unsalted butter, tomato and carrot

I searched high and low for unsalted cheese,
mana je aku tak jelajah tapi to no avail. I had
to opt for this 100% natural real cheese
with very low sodium. Nak beli cheese pun
satu hal kan! Nak kena tengok
which is suitable for babies as processed cheese
is actually not advisable. I referred to this.

Steam or boil the carrot and mash it.
Skin and dice the tomato (bijinya buang ya).
Saya tambah chopped onion saja bagi bau lebih
harum hehe

Masuk unsalted butter, tomato and carrot dalam
heated pan.
Gaulkan sampai macam mushy texture
sikit segalanya

Angkat gracy yang dah siap masak from pan,
add the cheese (to melt) and masukkan
baby pasta yang dah direbus. Siap.

Thaqif makan tak banyak sebab dia demam plus I suspect dia tak suka tomato. Ni first time bagi dia tomato. From previous experience, he dislikes sour taste. So maybe dia tak suka tomato. So mommy nya terus keluar kan frozen pureed brocolli and potato, mix dengan a bit of cheese and tambah pasta yang dah direbus tadi. Baru dia makan ada lah lebih sikit.

Hai, buntu memikir menu makan anak ni. Dahla bahan-bahan kena berjaga-jaga, no salt and sugar and whatnot but at the same time kena vary the taste supaya tak bosan, pening. Hehe. Pagi tadi try buat potato soup guna homemade serbuk bilis, bawang, a bit of shredded carrot and daun bawang. Harap Thaqif makan la.
